Today, I had a class of Bass fishing in Lake Tarpon with the teacher John!!! I never thought, that power bait tackle could be used as finesse style to attract big bass!!! The fish were lazy, but they showed us, that they were there!!! This time the master John caught more fish than me. Next time I will be ready for the big Bass!!! I recommend captain John for everyone, that intend go fishing in lake Tarpon!!! See you captain John! Take care!

FAQs

What should I bring?

Please bring a valid Florida fishing license, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and weather-appropriate clothing. Don't forget a camera to capture your catches!

What is provided?

All fishing equipment, bait, and a cooler with drinks and snacks are included in your trip.

Can I customize my trip?

Absolutely! We're happy to tailor your charter to meet your preferences and skill level.

How does the deposit work?

A 50% deposit holds your date once John confirms it. The deposit is non-refundable.

What if the weather turns?

Weather and acts of God — a hurricane, lightning, a storm — are the one exception: your trip is rescheduled at the captain's convenience, or turned into a gift certificate. There are no refunds, and a booking can't be transferred except as a gift certificate.

Do we keep the fish?

No — every bass goes back. A trophy is measured and released, and John can arrange a fiberglass replica mount through the Florida fish commission.

How many people can come?

Private charters are for 1 to 2 people, with availability for a 3rd. Bigger groups and corporate outings go out on more than one boat.

When is the best time to go?

Florida bass bite all year. December through March is the busiest stretch, so book those dates early.
